Prayer Guide FOR hancock county BEGIN Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you during this time of intercession. ENTER HIS PRESENCE Enter God’s presence through praise and worship. Sing out loud. Put on a praise & worship tape if you want. REMOVE HINDERANCES Ask God to show you anything in your life that could hinder your prayers. INTERCEDE: THE GOAL of our ministry is to help people find and fulfill God’s purpose for their life, and to raise up teams to share Jesus with the unreached people in the U.S. and around the world. With that in mind,
Use the following guidelines as you pray: Thank God for giving us power and authority over all the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS over yourself, your family, the other people 24-7 prayer team, and all you associate with in your daily activities and ministry, COME AGAINST THE EVIL ONE in all his nature and character; the adversary, the thief, the murderer and father of lies, the deceiver, the false angel of light, the prince of this world, the prince and power of the air, and the God of this world. CLAIM Hancock County in the name of Jesus. God’s Word says that we will possess all the ground upon which the soles of our feet tread, and that He’s given us the nations as our inheritance. COME AGAINST THOSE SPIRITS that try to rule in this county and bind them in Jesus name. Religious spirits, lust, traditions of men, confusion, party spirits, murder, immorality and perversion, gambling, covetousness, antichrist spirits, and (others to be named as God reveals them) ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CONVICT PEOPLE of sin, righteousness, judgment, and their need for Jesus. ASK GOD TO RELEASE THE MINISTERING ANGELS to bring in those who are to be heirs of salvation. ASK GOD TO RELEASE THE WARRING ANGELS to war against those spirits that would cause people to do iniquity and wickedness. ASK FOR AN OPEN HEAVEN so that signs, wonders, and miracles can take place. PRAY FOR THE PEACE AND LOVE OF GOD to flow to every part of the county and to every person in the county. PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AND/OR REVIVAL TO COME, AND GOD’S KINGDOM TO BE ESTABLISHED IN HANCOCK COUNTY. PRAY THAT THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT WOULD COME TO THE CHURCHES, and that every tradition, lie and lust of man that causes disunity be broken. Pray that they will be the loving, praying, worshipping, preaching, discipling, ministering, and evangelizing churches God wants them to be. PRAY THAT THE SECULAR AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS WOULD BE RIGHTEOUS AND LEAD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, or be removed. (SEE ATTACHED LIST) PRAY FOR WORKERS FOR THE HARVEST in the county. Pray that believers will become MEN AND WOMEN WITH A JESUS MESSAGE. That they would LIVE FOR JESUS AND PRAY for their friends, neighbors, loved ones, coworkers, classmates, and the world. That they would SHARE JESUS as they have opportunity, and that they would DISCIPLE those around them in the BASIC BIBLE principles of personal life, family life, church life, evangelism, and discipleship. PRAY THAT CHRISTIAN HOMES WILL BECOME HOUSES OF PRAYER AND MINISTRY FOR THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE WORLD. ASK GOD TO RELEASE MINISTERING ANGELS TO GUARD people’s mouths so that they would only say those things, which edify people, and bring Glory to God. PRAY FOR ANY NEEDS OF THE COUNTY GOD PUTS ON YOUR HEART, OR ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS WE SEND YOU FROM TIME TO TIME. IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN.
